Jessie Burnett

Jessie Lee (Nagel) Burnett, 100, of Crestview Hills passed away Sunday evening, November 21, 2021.

Mrs. Burnett was born on September 27, 1921, in Butler, Kentucky to Louis and Irene (Beckelheymer) Nagel. She had owned and operated the former Latch Key Restaurant on Main Street, Covington for several years and then retired as a Waitress for the former Eddie Arcaro Club at Turfway Park, Florence.

Mrs. Burnett was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Wayne Burnett; parents, Louis and Irene Nagel; and siblings, Gladys Frazee, Edna Lewis, Ruth Stutz, Viola Hitch, Kathryn Middleton and Harrison Nagel.

Surviving is her son, Wayne (Rita Hoffman) Burnett; four grandchildren, Kim, Vickie, Jacquie and Alex; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021, at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Graveside services to follow at 12:00 Noon at Peach Grove Cemetery, Peach Grove, Kentucky.
