Gerald "Jerry" Pence, Sr., 69, of Ludlow, died Thursday, April 24, at St. Elizabeth South Hospital in Edgewood.
He was a retired Yard Foreman with Cincinnati Drum Service of Sharonville and Ludlow, a long-time truck driver and a member of the Blugrass Jr. OUAM.
He was a United States Marine veteran.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty Jean Hukill Pence; son, Jerry Pence, Jr. of West Covington; daughters, Terry Moncrief of Columbus, Ohio, Debby McIntosh of Hebron, Laura Boatright of Ludlow, Sandy Thornsburg of Covington, Tina Kappes of Ludlow, Linda Pence of Ludlow, Donna Swenk of Florence, and Debbie Peyton of Chillicothe, Ohio; brother, Victor Pence of West Covington; sisters, Fran Mason of Burlington, Georgia Sargeant of Burlington, and Jeanne Suhay of Columbus, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Pence; and parents, Cecil W. and Allegra Havens Pence.
