Jean Carol “Nana” (Corbin) Hollenkamp departed this earth to be with her Lord on March 7,2022 surrounded in love by her family.
Jean follows in death her husband, Robert Hollenkamp, daughter Julie Dammert, her parents and brother Jerry Corbin.
Jean was the daughter of Josephine “Jo” (Baas) and Richard H. “Patsy” Corbin.
Jean was a beloved wife and mother, an adored grandmother and great grandmother and a loving sister and friend. Jean was a second mother and grandmother to many, an inspirational and wise woman who touched the lives of all that she met. Everything she did in her 95 years on earth were done with love. “Mom” and “Nana” will be greatly missed by her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jean was quite possibly the biggest Cincinnati Reds fan around. She was a Beechwood Swim Club board member and swim team fan, she attended St. Henry Church, Elsmere and Sts. Boniface & James Church, Ludlow, was a Bingo aficionado and a graduate of LaSallette Academy.
Jean worked at Cincinnati Bell and the BBB. Jean was fiercely independent and an avid walker. She loved camping with her husband in Gulf Shores, Myrtle Beach and the Kentucky Horse Park. She enjoyed many fun bus trips with her ladies clubs.
Jean is survived by daughters Jennifer Dewberry and Janine (Casey) Hill; sister, Jackie (Bill) Berman; grandchildren, Samantha (Kim) Hoekstra, Jordan (Connor) Scales and Kyle (Sarah) Hill; great-grandchildren Benjamin, Adelaide and Blake Wiesner, Matthew Hoekstra and Evelyn, Remington and Shepherd Hill; and niece Shannon Brookins.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Sts. Boniface & James Church, Ludlow. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. M iddendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow is serving the family. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
