Jane Hennessey Riehemann, 96, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Woodlawn, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Sarasota.
She was a faith-filled woman and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Sarasota and formerly of St. Anthony Church, Bellevue and St. Francis DeSales Church, Newport.
Jane enjoyed a variety of hobbies including bridge, reading, golf, walking, swimming and bowling. She had received an award for her volunteer work at Cyesis, a program for unwed mothers. She was a great friend to many and always thought of others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Riehemann in 1994; parents, William and Catherine Watson Hennessey; and four brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Ted (Jan) Riehemann, of The Villages, Florida, Mike Riehemann and Mark Riehemann, both of Sarasota, Dave Riehemann of Lenexa, Kansas, Ann (Ray) Rytel of Loveland, Ohio, Steve Riehemann of Poulsbo, Washington and Marty (Robin) Riehemann of Blue Ash, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, July 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 5th Avenue & Berry Street, Dayton, Kentucky. Interment at St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
