James Audley “Pappy” Miller, 82, of Union, formerly of Bromley, died Monday morning, October 29, 2012 at Villaspring Health and Rehabilitation Center, Erlanger. He was a retired self-employed Contractor and a United States Army veteran of Korea. For many years, he managed a number of softball teams in Northern Kentucky. He was a Certified Graduate of Clown College and performed around Northern Kentucky for many years as a clown and a magician. He also enjoyed karaoke.
Surviving are sisters, Violet, Doris, Pat, Gloria and Brenda; brother, Virgil; nine children and step children; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife LaVerne Blaker Miller in 1997; and his parents, Audley and Della Stuckey Miller.
Visitation is Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 am at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment, with military honors, at 1:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown.
