James Frank Day, 91, of Burlington, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
He was a World War II and Korean Navy Veteran and a retired Vice President of Medical Underwriting with Bankers Life and Casualty. In his spare time he enjoyed golf.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Frank and Reba Crowder Day; son, Tom Day; and brother, John Day.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Ann Thompson Day; sons, Robert “Happy” (Karen) Day of Illinois, Roger (Susan) Day of Nevada and Scott Day of Latonia; daughters, Linda (John) Brusca of Illinois and Bonnie (Paul) Kroth of Hebron; brother, Clyde (Peggy) Day of Fort Wright; sister, Vira (Robert) Hayes of Tennessee; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation is Saturday, September 3, 3016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Memorial services to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the favorite charity of the donor's choice.
