Howard Holt

Howard Lee Holt, 83, of Erlanger passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on June 30, 1937 in Petersburg, Kentucky to James Thomas and Lottie Willman Holt, Howard retired from St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. He was a member of New Life Southern Baptist Church, Aurora, Indiana, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie “Rose” F. Hussung Holt; daughters, Toni (Michael) Clemmons, Patricia Holt and Edith “Missy” (Roger Barnes) Holt; sons, Gary Lee (Lynda) Holt and Kevin Dale (Teresa) Holt; his granddaughter like a daughter, Amber (Tonya) Holt; sisters, Patty (the late John) Franks and Betty (the late Jimmy) Ranshaw; brother, Jackie (Mary) Holt; 21 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to Covid-19, social distancing is mandated and wearing of masks to enter the funeral home is required. The total in attendance will be limited to 50% of the funeral home’s capacity. Visitation is Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, Kentucky.
