Homer Adkin Baker, 84, of Wildwood, Florida, formerly of Bromley, died Sunday, November 11 at his home. He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ. He enjoyed camping.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Combs Baker; daughters, Phyllis Lepperd and Linda Callahan; sister, Lynette Lowe; parents, Lloyd Turner and Atha Riddle Baker; and his dog, Pugsley.
He is survived by his second wife, Jeweldine "Judy" Baker; daughter, Patricia Baker Campbell of Elsmere; step-sons, Bill Grindstaff of Virginia, Scott Grindstaff of Alexandria, and Tom Grindstaff of Independence; brothers, Denny Baker of Hobe Sound, Florida, and Robert Baker of Huntsville, Alabama; sisters, Bessie Miller of Wildwood, Florida, Helen McKnight of Orlando, Florida, Emolene Polk of Huntsville, Alabama, and Kay Lehnertz of Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
