Harry J. Eagan, 81, of Fort Wright, formerly of Ludlow, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 20, 2018. He was a retired corporate accountant for U.S. Bank, retiring after 36 years of service.
Harry began his career immediately upon graduation from Ludlow High School in 1956 at First National Bank, Cincinnati. Through the years, the bank changed names to Star Bank and then, ultimately, U.S. Bank from which he retired.
He was a Trustee Emeritus of Redwood School and Rehabilitation Center where he chaired several fundraising events for many years and was a longtime participant in the Redwood Cotton Follies.
Harry was a member and Elder of Community of Faith Presbyterian Church, Fort Wright, member of the Ludlow Senior Citizens, Park Hills Senior Citizens, Hilltopper Senior Citizens and the Ludlow-Bromley Swim Club. He also volunteered for many years with the C.L.A.S.P. afterschool program in Ludlow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Morlidge Eagan.
Survivors include his special friends, Janet Burdick of Cincinnati and Robert and Belinda Price of Loveland, along with a host of dear friends.
There is no visitation. Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Community of Faith Presbyterian Church, Fort Wright. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow is handling the arrangements.
