Grace Vastine Adick Conners, 96, of Edgewood, formerly of Covington and Cincinnati, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Brighton Gardens in Edgewood.
Born to the late Ben M. and Frances Kordenbrock Vastine on January 2, 1914 in Covington, Kentucky, she was a retired elementary school teacher for the Cincinnati Public Schools and Covington Public Schools, a former Principal of the Oyler School, and a former teacher at Villa Madonna Evening College (now Thomas More College). She was also a greeter for the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington.
She was the beloved wife of late husbands, Leonard W. Adick and Charles F. Conners.
Survivors include step-sons, Robert (Carol) Conners of Cincinnati, Ohio, William P. (Joan) Conners of Cincinnati, Ohio, John Conners of Cincinnati, Ohio and Mary Jo (the late Charles) Conners of Cincinnati, Ohio; and nieces and nephews, Mary Jane (the late Tom) Lucas, Robert (Marilyn) Adick, Judy (the late John) Toebben, Don (Sue) Adick, Marcia (the late Ken) Klaene, Joan (Barry) Strittholt, Janice (Marc) Johannemann, Michael (Kay) Adick, Dee (Dave) Sommerkamp, Lynn (Bob) Ross, James (Susan) Vastine, Diane Vastine, and Nancy (the late Joseph) Vastine.
