Geraldine J. Froelicher Wolff, 82, of Florence, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at her home. Born February 18, 1929 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Adolph and Regina Moening Froelicher, Mrs. Wolff was a retired English teacher with over 25 years of service at Lloyd Memorial High School.
She was a member of St. Barbara Church, Erlanger; a Docent and Historian at St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, Covington; and a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association and the Kenton County Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include daughters, Beth (Tom) Wolff Blom and Therese (Dave) Schroer, both of Florence; sons, Stephen J. (Virginia) Wolff of Asheville, North Carolina and Walter Paul "Arkie" Wolff of Florence; sister, Rosemary Bedinghaus of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Patrick Blom, Philip Blom, Christopher Blom, Walker Wolff, Wynter Wolff, Waverly Wolff, Hannah Schroer, John Michael Schroer, and Hope Schroer; and great granddaughter, Lillian Rae Blom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Paul Wolff in 2001.
Visitation is Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Barbara Church, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Reverend John Sterling to celebrate Mass. Interment at St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington, is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Sisters of the Good Shepherd Pelletier Hall, 930 Highland Avenue, Fort Thomas, KY 41075.
