George W. Mobley, 89, of Hebron died Thursday, October 10, 2013 at his home. He was retired from Seagrams Distillery, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Mr. Mobley attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Taylor Mill and was a former member of the Petersburg F & AM Masonic Lodge. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Florence Hodges Mobley in 2005; parents, Daniel and Ella Clark Mobley; sons, George Wayne Mobley and Terry L. Mobley; sister, Margaret Taggart; and brothers, Roy Mobley, Jesse Mobley, Chester Mobley, and Ed Mobley.
Survivors include daughter, Brenda (Edward) Berner of Superior, Wisconsin; sons, Gary (Patty) Mobley of Burlington, Keith (KC) Mobley of Springdale, Ohio, Daryl Dean (Tracy) Mobley of Hebron, David R. Mobley of Hebron and Mike L. Mobley of Erlanger; sisters, Dortha Whitaker of Hebron and Maudie Lunsford of Milan, Indiana; brother, Kenneth Mobley of Florence; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, October 14, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Sand Run Cemetery, Hebron.
