Garland William Cartwright, 95, of Bromley, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Edgewood.
Mr. Cartwright was born in Meigs County, Tennessee on September 8, 1916 to the late Thomas Owen and Annie Bell Atchley Cartwright.
He was a former electrical engineering designer for General Electric for 32 years , a very active member of the Ohio Valley Beagle Club and a WWII Army Air Corp veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy M. Kilgore Cartwright, daughter, Shawna Cartwright of Villa Hills, son, Thomas (Nancy) Cartwright of Fairfield, OH, sister, Geraldine Thomas of Augusta, GA, brothers, Elmer and Eddie Gene Cartwright both of Cleveland, TN, Ben Cartwright of Arizona, grandson, Ross Garland Cartwright and good friends, David Trauth and Tom Enzweiler.
