Galen Burns

Galen Ray Burns, 72, a lifelong resident of Petersburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. 

Galen was born on February 8, 1952, in Petersburg to Galen S. and Lillian (Stephens) Burns. He was a retired Ramp Agent for Delta Airlines at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport. Galen attended Belleview Baptist Church and enjoyed horses and horse racing. He also loved his local sports teams, the Bengals, the Cincinnati Reds and UK Basketball. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Galen S. Burns. 

Survivors include his mother, Lillian (Stephens) Burns; his sister from another mother, Stephanie (Chris) Morris; nieces and nephew, Ethan Morris, Lacey Morris and Bailey Morris; and a host of cousins. 

No Visitation. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg.
