Frances Brown

Frances Pauline Wells Brown, 73, of Erlanger, died Monday, August 31, at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher, having spent her entire teaching career of 34 years in the Erlanger-Elsmere School System.

Mrs. Brown was a charter member of Heritage Fellowship of Florence. She was a member of the Kenton County Retired Teachers, the Kentucky Education Association, the Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Sorority, a Kentucky Colonel, and the Lloyd Memorial High School Hall of Fame.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Elbert "Chub" Brown; sons, Bert W. (Melinda) Brown of Erlanger and Stuart P. (Ashley) Brown of Milford, Ohio; and grandchildren, Addison Brown, Payton Brown, Breckenridge Brown, and Zara Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon P. and Helen Cox Wells.
