Dorothy Ellis

Dorothy Mae "Dot" Reed Ellis, 79, of Erlanger, died Sunday, March 23 at the Baptist Village Care Center in Erlanger.

She loved to cook and was retired from Northern Kentucky Head Start in Newport as a cook.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Latonia.

She is survived by daughters, Nancy Henderson of Maysville, Becky Ellis of Covington, and Martha Spanier of Crittenden; sons, Kenny Ellis of Melbourne, Florida, Roger Ellis of Cincinnati, Paul Ellis of Covington, Joe Ellis of Dry Ridge, and Danny Ellis of Covington; brother, James Reed of Elizabethtown; sisters, Margie Setters of Piner, Florence Cannon of Cincinnati, and Betty Moore of Ft. Wright; 28 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Ellis; and parents, Luther and Martha Miller Reed.
