Dorothy Mary Lape Dorning, 95, died Thursday, March 6 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Augustine Church and the St. Augustine Pathfinders.
She is survived by sons, Thomas (Laura) Dorning of Covington, Richard (Kay) Dorning of Ft. Wright, Jerry (Bonnie) Dorning and Danny Dorning, both of Covington; daughters, Barbara (Joe) Hester and Diane (the late John) Bruner, both of Covington; sister, Louise McCarthy of Covington; 25 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Dorning; and parents, Peter and Mary Ruehl Lape.
Memorials are suggested to St. Augustine Church, 1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington KY 41014.
