Donna McWethy
August 30, 1932 — June 28, 2014
Donna Jean McWethy, 81, went to be with her Lord on June 28th, 2014, after a long battle with lymphoma.
She was one of twelve children, born to Jacob and Eva Nixon on August 30th, 1932. Beloved wife of 64 years to Alfred E. McWethy.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven McWethy, and three siblings; Emma Whitham, Charles Nixon and Paul Nixon.
She is survived by her spouse, Alfred, and her three daughters; Kathy Black (Marty), Connie Culp (John), Peggy Barnett (David), nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight siblings.
She was a homemaker who lived a simple life in Petersburg, KY. She cared for her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and many others in her home. She also worked at Ryle’s Grocery Store with her dear friend and cousin, Katherine Ryle, for years serving people in her community. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included baking, reading, sewing and traveling.
