Diane Merrell

Diane Hatfield Merrell, 56, of Burlington passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Albert B. Chandler, University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington.

She worked for many years at the DANA Corp., Dry Ridge until her health declined.

Diane was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Hebron. Her pleasures in life were her granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Hatfield, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Dean Merrell of Burlington; mother, Ella Morgan Hatfield of Hebron; daughter, Cassandra (Johnathan) Dodd of Burlington; sisters, Maxine (Daniel, Jr.) Smith of Nancy, Kentucky, Rita (Stan Collett) Noonan of Florence and Jo Ann (Jonathan) Vandivier of Ellenton, Florida; brother, Don (Tracey) Hatfield, Jr. of Johnsville, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Hannah and Emily Dodd.

Visitation is Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Sand Run Cemetery, Hebron.
