Delores Burgess

Delores Mae "Dee" Kraut Burgess, 87, of Edgewood, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. She was a retired Accountant with the Internal Revenue Service.

Born March 18, 1926 in Covington to the late Louis and Mabel Davis Kraut, Mrs. Burgess was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and was a Kentucky Colonel. She loved to square dance.

Survivors include her son, Dan (Nancy) Burgess of Villa Hills; grandchildren, Joshua Burgess of Erlanger and Shannon Kaliin of Erlanger; and great grandchildren, Alyssa, Lyric, and Remedy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Bill" Burgess in 1979.

Visitation is Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery Chapel, Fort Mitchell. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Reverend Michael Sweeney officiating. Entombment at Highland Cemetery. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
