David Glen Farmer, Sr., 56, of Burlington passed away Saturday at his residence. He was a heavy equipment operator for more than 30 years.
David attended Bullittsville Christian Church, Burlington and was a former member of the Covington Moose Lodge # 1469 and the Covington-Kenton Lions Club. He loved the outdoors, whether it be working in his vegetable garden or just simply mowing the yard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Laymon Farmer in 2013 and a brother, James Robert Farmer in 1974.
Survivors include his son, David G. (Aubree) Farmer, Jr. of Richwood; twin daughters, Aimee (Jay) Hopkins of Morningview and Angie (Frank) Armstrong of Independence; mother, Norma Jean Middleton Farmer of Burlington; sister, Rae Jean “Sis” (Matt) Doerman of Hebron; brother, Joseph Alan Farmer of Burlington; companion, Pam Johnson of Burlington; and grandchildren, Wyatt Farmer, Sadie Farmer, Frank Armstrong, EllieMae Armstrong and Jasper Hopkins.
Visitation is Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Bullittsburg Cemetery, Petersburg.
