Dame Irma D. Cripe Long, 85, of Cincinnati, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Terrace View Gardens in Cincinnati. She was a homemaker.
Dame Long was a member of the Rosebud Chapter #39 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Covington. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed crafting and going to casinos.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula J. Oldham and Lavina K. (Wilbert) Miller; grandchildren, Laura (Mark) Lind, James Thomas, Randy (Jenny) Cornell, Darlene Cornell, and Patrick Cornell; great grandchildren, Jacob Lind, Alayna Lind, and Matthew S. (Darlene) Niehaus, Jr.; sister, Marceline Marquardt of Beatrice, Nebraska; and brothers, Larry Cripe of Lincoln, Nebraska and Eugene Cripe of Beatrice, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Long; son, George W. Long; sister, Maxine Linscott; brother, Merle Cripe; and parents, Grover Floyd and Maude Luella Cripe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Camp Stepping Stones, 5650 Given Road, Cincinnati, OH 45243.
