Creston "Pete" Dishon

Creston “Pete” Dishon, 96, of Erlanger, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, Ohio. 

Pete was born on December 17, 1927, in Covington, Kentucky to Walter Leslie and Gertrude (Woods) Dishon. He was a retired Assembler for Fisher Body then subsequently General Motors. 

Pete attended Immanuel Methodist Church, Lakeside Park and Erlanger Methodist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as an MP, and he was a longtime member of the U.A.W. Local #647. 

Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Alma (Cunningham) Dishon in 2010; a son, Michael Dishon in 2022; and his parents. 

Surviving are his daughters, Connie Dishon and Tonya Lutz. 

Visitation is 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger. Funeral services begin at 12:00 Noon in the chapel. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to the donor’s choice of United Christian Volunteers, 15 Kenton Street, Elsmere, KY 41018 or to a Hospice Organization of your choice. 

Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Elanger is serving the family.
