Constance “Connie” Elliott Dickmann, 71, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Fort Thomas, died Thursday March 9, 2017 after a 28-month battle with ALS.
Raised in Fort Thomas, Connie graduated from Highlands High School and attended the University of Kentucky. A member of the Kappa Delta Sorority, she went on to receive her Master’s Degree and Rank 1 certification from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Connie taught in the Boone County and Fort Thomas school systems. While living in Fort Thomas, she attended Highland Hills Baptist Church, sang in the church choir and served on various church committees.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Moore Elliott.
Surviving is her loving husband, Paul; son, Justin (Aimee) Crigler of Hebron; step sons, Douglas (Rebecca) Dickmann of Union, David Dickmann of Erlanger and Dale (Leah) Dickmann of Kaysville, Utah; sister, Rebecca (David) Smith of Huron, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 1833 Petersburg Road, Hebron. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky.
