Clifford R. “Spick” Hagar, 87, of Ludlow passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 24, 2015.
He was a retired freight agent for American Airlines at the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati Airport and a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during World War II. He enjoyed hunting and being an Emcee and DJ for the S & S Cloggers.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn S. Arns Hagar on September 7, 1970; parents, William and Lily Smitson Hagar; and seven brothers and sisters.
Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Sarita Faye McPhereson Hagar of Ludlow; daughters, Janice Hagar of San Diego, California and Sarah Kay (Jay) Sands of Bromley; sons, Mike (Laurie) Hagar and Raymond Hagar, both of Ludlow; and seven grandchildren, Mary Hagar, Jennifer Hagar, Madyson Dehnert, Lilly Dehnert, Kate Sands, Elijah Sands and Emma Sands.
Visitation is Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment, with military honors, at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
