Claude Collins

June 5, 1919 — November 20, 2007

Claude Charles Collins, 88, of Covington, died Tuesday, November 20 at St. Elizabeth South Hospital in Edgewood. He was a retired welder with Liebel Flarsheim Company of Reading, Ohio. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in World War II, and a member of the American Legion and Kelly Furnish VFW.

He is survived by son, Van Collins and daughter-in-law, Karen Collins, both of Ludlow; sister, Ruth Hardison of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Carrie Bumgarner of Erlanger, Nick Collins of Edgewood, and Kelly Collins of Ludlow; and great grandchildren, Ava Rose Bumgarner, Jack Bumgarner, Ben Bumgarner, and Vincent Collins.

He was preceded in death by wife, Rose Bedenk Collins; brothers, Scott Collins and Walter Collins; sisters, Nell Musgrave and Imogene Epps; and parents, Scott and Elsie McGregor Collins.
