Charles Henry Hoffrogge, 99, of Fort Mitchell died Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a retired manager with Post-Glover Electric.
Born October 8, 1913 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Joseph and Minnie Huber Hoffrogge, he was a World War II Naval Veteran who served aboard the USS Birmingham. He was a member of St. Agnes Church and a member of Fort Mitchell Country Club. He enjoyed keeping up with current events in the news and with politics. His hobbies included traveling and golf.
Survivors include daughter Diane (Jim) Splain of West Chester, Pennsylvania; and grandson, Michael Christopher Splain of Boston, Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Hoffrogge; sister Mildred Lonemann; and brother Robert Hoffrogge.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington is serving the family.
