Charles Edward Faeth, 78, of Elsmere died Monday afternoon, November 5, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a retired Boiler Engineer for Hilton Davis Chemical Co. of Cincinnati.
Mr. Faeth served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Henry Church, Elsmere and the Father Bealer Council # 3908 Knights of Columbus. He was also a member and board member of the American Legion Post # 20 of Elsmere.
Survivors include sons, David (Kimberley) Faeth of Hebron and Charles “Chuck” (Barbara) Faeth of Erlanger; daughters, Rose (Bill) Kreidler of Elsmere, Julie (Christopher) Williams of Erlanger and Jean (Mike) McGraw of Florence; sister, Catherine Bell of Cincinnati; brother, Thomas (Judy) Faeth of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Chas, Laura, Heather, Stacy, Christa, Kevin, David, Maddie, Jared, Kate and Megan; and great grandchildren, Kaelynn, Aneleigh and Leilah.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Lahrman Faeth in 2010 and his parents, George and Catherine McHale Faeth.
Visitation is Friday, November 9, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Henry Church, Elsmere. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Reverend Msgr. William Cleves to celebrate Mass. Interment, with military honors, at St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
