Ceola Elizabeth Smith Prabel, 88, of Florence, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Highland Springs of Fort Thomas. She was the co-owner of the Constance Service Station.

Born September 29, 1923 in Dayton, Kentucky to the late Casius and Elizabeth Smith, Mrs. Prabel was a member of the First Church of Christ, Burlington, and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Florence Star Chapter.

Survivors include her daughter, Diana (Don) Farrell of Cincinnati; sister, Jackie Sweeney of Cincinnati; granddaughters, Debbie (Wade) Giffin of Columbus, Ohio and Denise (Mike) Moeller of Harrison, Ohio; great grandchildren, Alex Giffin, Chris Giffin, Morgan Moeller, and Michael Moeller; brother in law, Ralph Prabel of Burlington; and niece, Peggy Prabel of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Prabel in 1995.

Visitation is Friday, May 11, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron with an Eastern Star Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service is Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Wade Giffin officiating. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
