Carrie Estes

Carrie Marie Wesley Estes, 70, of Petersburg, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Estes was a former cook for the Boone County School System, Bullittsburg Baptist Campground and was a member of Bullittsburg Baptist Church.

She was born on February 25, 1941 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Bessie Lamb Wesley.

Carrie loved reading and writing poetry.

She is survived by sons, Tim (Carla) Estes of Hebron, Rick (Cathie) Estes of Petersburg, daughters, April (Kenny) Abdon and Debbie S. Widener both of Petersburg, sisters, Violet Wesley of Wright City, Arkansas, Ruthie Noe of Goshen, Ohio , 6 grandchildren, Jason, Daniel, Timmy, Noah, Ace, Mitchell and 3 great grandchildren, Andrew, Kiara and Natalie.

Her husband Esto Estes, Jr. preceded her in death in 2003.
