Carolyn Conrad

Carolyn F. (Aylor) Conrad, 90, of Hebron passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 29, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Petersburg.

Carolyn was born on January 8, 1932, in Florence, Kentucky to Stanley and Helen (Tanner) Aylor. She grew up attending Hopeful Lutheran Church, where she would play the organ occasionally for the congregation and sing in the choir. She was a lifetime Lutheran and a longtime member of Hebron Lutheran Church, where she continued to sing in the choir for many years and participate with the Primetimers group at church. Carolyn enjoyed crocheting and the Games Group at Florence Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harold Conrad in 2004; her parents; daughter, Sue Westermeyer; sister, Louise Aylor; and a brother, Wendell Aylor.

Survivors include daughters, Donna (Douglas) Conner and Helen (Paul) Westermeyer; sons, Bob (Charlene) Conrad and David P. (Kim) Conrad; brothers, Charles (Dottie) Aylor and Clyde Aylor; sister in law, Janet Aylor; 18 grandchildren, Amy Westermeyer, Ellen Gregory, Clay Conner, James Conner, Kelsey Duncan, Cynthia Foltz, Stacy Steger, Kevin Westermeyer, Tim Westermeyer, Steven Westermeyer, Kami McDaniel, Laura Davenport, Ivan Conrad, Luke Conrad, Holli Conrad, Addie Conrad, Adam Conrad, Josi Conrad; and 25 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the Hebron Lutheran Church, 3140 Limaburg Road, Hebron, KY 41048. Funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.
