Bill Fightmaster

William Roy “Bill” Fightmaster, 69, of Florence, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his residence.

Bill was born on March 20, 1944 in Covington to the late Leroy H. and Clara Ann Tippett Fightmaster. He was retired from the shipping and receiving department of Zumbiel Packaging, Hebron. Bill was a United States Air Force Veteran, Kentucky Colonel and member of First Church of Christ, Burlington. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Tomlinson Fightmaster; son, Jeffrey Fightmaster of Florence; daughters, Rhonda (Dennis) Ransdell of Villa Hills, Theresa Kennedy of Latonia, and Robin (Brian) Greenwell of Fort Mitchell; brothers, Clyde A. Fightmaster of Covington and Arthur R. Fightmaster of Demossville; sister, Nancy Lester of Warsaw; and grandchildren, Erika, Casey, Paige and Jeffrey.

Visitation is Monday, July 8, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Reverend Brian Heckber officiating. Interment, with military honors, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North, Williamstown.
