Betty Murphy

Betty Jane Murphy, 101, of Ludlow, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Story Point Senior Living in Union. 

Betty was a retired accounts receivable clerk with the Standard Publishing Company. Over the years her church memberships included: Ludlow Presbyterian Church (Community of Faith), College Hill Presbyterian Church, and Lakeside Christian Church. Betty enjoyed reading, singing in the church choir, and volunteering with the Ludlow CLASP program. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Murphy Jr; son in law, Mike Linder; and sister, Nancy Lou Ziegler. 

Survivors include, daughter, Barbara Linder Enderly (Mike); son, Dan Murphy (Melinda); grandchildren, Lori Linder Cornell (Michael), Timothy Linder, Molly Linder Rayo (Steve), Emily Klaine (Jonathan), and Ryan Murphy (Lauryn); great grandchildren, Jacob, Jensen, Jackson, Talon, Daniel, Hunter, Ainsley, Eden, and Elijah; niece, Susan Ziegler Ellis; and nephew, David Ziegler. 

Visitation is Friday, January 10, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.

There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at College Hill Presbyterian Church, 5742 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224. The family will see visitors at 10:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
