Betty Lou Johnson

Betty Lou (Banks) Johnson, 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio died Friday, March 28, 2025, at Hospice of Cincinnati, Anderson. 

Betty was born on July 17, 1941, in Belleview, Kentucky to the late Homer and Emma Lee (Moore) Banks. She was a 4th Grade Elementary Teacher for the Boone Co. School District at Goodridge Elementary for 32 years and a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. Betty enjoyed reading and she was a member of the Red Hat Society while wintering in Florida for many years. 

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Johnson; daughters, Terri Duncan and Vikki Hays; stepdaughters, Barbara (Wayne) Roach and Kathleen (Wayne) Wickersham; stepsons, Terry (Cindy) Johnson, Daniel Johnson and Randy (the late Sharon) Johnson; sister, Mary Ann (the late Herb) Ginn; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 

Visitation is 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron, Kentucky. Funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, Kentucky.
