Biography

Benjamin Louis Stull, 94, of Ft. Thomas, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Stull was born on June 30, 1917 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Henry and Flora Goodridge Stull.

He was a retired railway postal clerk, member of First Presbyterian Church, Ft. Thomas, member of Ft. Thomas Masonic Lodge #808, F & AM, Scottish-Rite, Covington, and a Army veteran of WWII.

Ben was coached basketball by John Wooden in 1932-1933 at Dayton, Kentucky High School. This was John Wooden’s only losing season but they had a winning season in 1933-1934.

He is survived by daughter, Carol Bredemeyer of Bellevue and son, William L. Stull of Elsmere. His wife, Catherine Kohl Stull , preceded him in death in 1999.
