Ben Cloud

Ben Cloud, 87, of Ludlow, died Sunday afternoon, March 8, 2015 at his home. He was a retired sales representative for Midwest Tank & Manufacturing Co. and had formerly worked for many years for Littleford Bros.

He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, a Kentucky Colonel, former member of the N.K.A.P.C. and a former Ludlow City Councilman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Cooke Cloud in 2006; son, Rick Cloud in 2010; and his parents, James and Lula Jones Cloud.

Survivors include daughters, Amy (Guy) Stephenson of Ludlow, Patricia (Mike) Sebastian of Frankfort and Mary Cloud of Ludlow; son, Randy Cloud of Ludlow; three grandchildren, Teagan (Devon) Galloway of San Diego, California, Shelby Powers of Ludlow and Michael Sebastian of New York, New York; sister in law, Carol Cooke of Ludlow; and his son Richard’s longtime companion, Harriet Smith and her daughter, Hope Setser.

Visitation is Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
