Andrew Carson “Drew” Meyers, 28, of Edgewood, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on December 11, 1984, in Cincinnati to David Mark Kasunic of White Plains, NY and Denise Marie Meyers of Edgewood, KY.
Drew was a Holy Cross High School graduate and was to graduate in December with a degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Thomas More College. Drew was a civilian contractor for the US Government and a student. He was president and originator of Servicemen to Saints at Thomas More. He formerly worked for the Kenton County Jail, played football both in high school and college, participated in the Toys for Tots program and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
Surviving along with his parents are, grandparents, Earl L. Meyers, Sr. and JoAnn Carson Meyers of Park Hills, Aunts, Cindy (Mike) Swegles of Walton, LeAnn (Mike) McKeon of Cincinnati, uncle, Earl L. “Jay” (Kimberly) Meyers, Jr. of Edgewood, cousins, Mindy Strong of Independence, Kristin Fischer of Latonia, Brent Swegles of Walton, Andrea and Nick McKeon of Cincinnati, Spencer Meyers of Edgewood, John Wettig of Covington and great Aunts and Uncles, Shirley (the late Al) Meyers, of Erlanger, Bill (the late Blanche) Reckers of Covington and Debbie (Jack) Wettig of Covington.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 19, 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, with visitation beginning there Friday at 4:00 p.m. A Military Honor Service will follow the Mass.
