Adam Jones

Adam Benjamin Jones, 29, of Park Hills, passed away September 4, 2016.

Adam was such a free spirit and so giving to others. He was known to put a smile on the face of everyone he met. His joy in life was making others happy.

Adam had a profound love for music and art. He was a very talented musician, loved singing and playing his guitar. He loved performing with his sister. He was an extremely talented artist who won many competitions for his works.

He was an outstanding athlete in many sports. Adam was on the varsity basketball and baseball team in the eighth grade, was on many baseball all-star teams, and a very talented soccer player. Adam was extremely intelligent, being on the academic team and dean’s lists. He was known for his knowledge of random facts and history.

Adam was the happiest when he heard his Dad cheer him on at his baseball games, when he spent time with his big sis, or listened to music with his Mom.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ford and Sarah Powell and paternal grandfather, Raymond Jones.

Survivors include his father, Benjamin Jones of Park Hills; his mother, Mary Powell; a sister, Sarah Jones of Park Hills; paternal grandparents, Mildred and Marvin Huffman of Morning View; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation is Friday, September 16, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service starting at 1:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Sarah Jones at BBT for her non-profit she is creating in memory of Adam.
